It is time to do the first review. First after a while you realize what you have done. During the moving process you are so focused on getting through. But now we ARE here - at our new destination - our new home. The move has gone smoothly when we think about it. We have had a good feeling about our adventure all the way through and have met our new country with open minds. Packing down in Brunei, selling stuff, organizing, unpacking, packing again, planning, waiting, being seperated etc. - all this is behind us now and almost forgotten.
We are lucky the kids are so adaptable and that they have been excited about it all. When the kids are happy it makes it a lot easier. The house is nearly done. Coming from a house falling apart, we enjoy having a new house and lovely bathrooms. Also having neighbours around us and living on a safe street where the kids run out and play is new to us and the kids love it. They have already made friends and some of them even go to the same school as them.
We still haven't been out to explore the city of Dubai yet but we buy Time Out Dubai every week and are looking forward to all the exciting things to do!
