The summer in Denmark was absolutely magic. We had lots of visitors family and friends (unfortunately there are still many of you we didn't get to see this time). We had 3 weeks with daddy, boys in football camp near by first week, a few parties and lots of beach time and hanging around our house. Kids enjoyed themselves and were happy playing football, playing with visitors or our lovely neighbours. We ate lots of strawberries, new potatoes and had some lovely bbq, cold white wine in the late afternoon. We also took the kids for their first music festival. First it appeared weird to them to see adults jumping around and looking funny but after a while they learned to dance on the table and listen to the music.
Weather has been the best summer weather ever. No rain, blue sky and high temperatures every day. We normally find it too cold to swim in the ocean but this year we nearly went to the beach every day. Frederik had a project making an Argentinean grill and my brother in law was very helpful on the this project. Grill not finish yet but hopefully ready for next year.
I had the last week by myself and as always it was sad to send Frederik home and to pack down everything after 3 amazing weeks together as a family. The holiday ended with my parents' 50th wedding anniversary, a lovely day. I flew back and left the kids with their grandparents.
