Summer

In Denmark we are used to people talking about the weather all the time. In Dubai weather changed twice a year - from winter to summer in March and from summer to winter in October/November. Since October we have been outside every day and had temperatures between 20 and 30 degrees. The last 3 months it has been 15 in the mornings and 24 during the day.

Suddenly the weather changed from 15 in the morning one day, 20 the next and a couple of days later 31 degrees in the morning and 38 in the afternoon. Very hot! It came so suddenly. And it will only get warmer....

Last weekend we went to Creek Park and the temperature was perfect. It was probably the last pleasant time outside during the day for a looong time.

Creek park is a great park. Actually we have never been around in this park before. It has also one of the "we should go places". After more than a year in Dubai there are still so many places we haven't been to.

We hired a family bicycle for half an hour and went around the park and after the kids enjoyed playing in one of the many playgrounds.
