Today we went out for the day. We drove through the desert to the Hatta mountains. We should have been through Oman but didn't think of bringing passports so we had to drive another way. It was amazing to see how different it is in Uae from city life, to desert to mountains in just 1-2 hours drive. We stopped in Hatta and had a walk in the park with a beautiful view over the mountains and the kids played in the playground. We also had a nice lunch in Hatta Fort Hotel. Definitely a hotel that would be nice staying at, when it get warmer. These days it is freezing cold and windy (15 degrees).
